When learning poker for the first time, you can easily make mistakes because many things run through your mind. Sometimes your mistakes may not affect your game or your opponent’s game but other times, you’ll do yourself an injustice or anger other players. Even making mistakes, learning poker can be awesome and there are some general newbie mistakes that are made all the time.

Everyone has heard the saying, don’t get in too deep with your betting. Most players tend to still think that losses are a small setback though, and continue to play while losing. Everyone thinks the next hand will be the one that wins.
